hey guys! long time no update. sorry about that. most of the people who read my journal know where i am, but just i'll let anyone else (stalkers, friends i don't talk to as much, etc.) that i'm currently in japan studying for a year. been here for two months now. it's amazing, and while the classes are hard and i sometimes feel i never do well, i know i'm getting better. i've made a ton of friends out here and i love how easy it is to buy as much hetalia things as i want in a few cities away. i must say, when i leave there will be a few things i will miss here in japan.

the weather: OMFG! different seasons!? totally different than that from where i am in the States

the bread: every night i go to a conbini JUST to eat the chocolate bread. mmmm...so good...

the people: most of the japanese people i know are amazingly kind and willing to talk to me in english or help me out with japanese. they're always so patient in my speaking abilities and i LOVE my host family

the trains: it's a lot more fun to ride trains and convenient as hell

the orange juice: REALLY different out here and REALLY tastes good. mmmm...

in any case, i need to study more. i didn't do well in my midterm despite the fact that i studied so hard. japanese classes are hard! we've done 10 chapters in 6 weeks... X.x
but it's ok. everyone didn't do very well. even those in the upper division classes. so, hopefully, this quarter will be better! ><
